Synopsis:

The new Abby Abernathy is a good girl. She doesn’t drink or swear, and she has the appropriate number of cardigans in her wardrobe. Abby believes she has enough distance from the darkness of her past, but when she arrives at college with her best friend, her path to a new beginning is quickly challenged by Eastern University's Walking One-Night Stand.

Travis Maddox, lean, cut, and covered in tattoos, is exactly what Abby needs—and wants—to avoid. He spends his nights winning money in a floating fight ring, and his days as the ultimate college campus charmer. Intrigued by Abby’s resistance to his appeal, Travis tricks her into his daily life with a simple bet. If he loses, he must remain abstinent for a month. If Abby loses, she must live in Travis’s apartment for the same amount of time. Either way, Travis has no idea that he has met his match.

My Opinions:

*5 Stars*
I've been hearing so many mixed reviews about this book, but from all the Youtubers that I've watched, they have been giving this book 5 stars so I wanted to read this book and see all the controversies about this book. This book, however, exceeded my expectations and I am really interested in reading more of Jamie's books.

Abby Abernathy is starting her first year at college and her friend, America, invited Abby to come along with her to the watch Travis Maddox fight. However, on their first meeting, Abby was splattered with blood from Travis's fight. Throughout this story, I enjoyed the relationship between Travis and Abby so much and it was really interesting to see how they went back and forth with each other. I really enjoy their relationship and they multiple of times that Abby hung out with other guys which made Travis annoyed and jealous at the same time. The friendship between Abby and America was amazing like I haven't read book that has a strong friendship connection between two girls because for the other books that I've read the girls just ended up unfriending each other in the end and it's just frustrating to see how they turned everyone against each other.

Travis "MAD DOG" Maddox has been living a carefree life ever since his tragic past. Travis has never stuck with one girl after spending one night with her and after spending time together, he would then politely ask her to leave before they become to hangy, he would have to find someone new. However, after meeting Abby, his personalities started to change so that he could be able to talk to Abby without her being disgusted with him and then she would stay away from him. I love to see how much Travis changed for Abby and how their relationship developed overtime. It was really enjoyable to see Travis's get jealous or annoyed when he sees Abby is hanging out with Parker. I found those moments really fun to read because seeing Travis trying to get Abby's attention on her date with Parker.

Overall, this book was a really great read and an amazing start to begin the month of May with. I can't wait to read Walking Disaster in Travis's point of view because I love him so much and I want to see how he dealt with the situations in this book.
