Synopsis:

The marriage is fake. But for a sassy chef and an arrogant billionaire, the sparks are real…

Jackson “The Beast” Boudreaux is rich, gorgeous, and unbelievably rude to the staff at Chef Bianca Hardwick’s New Orleans restaurant. Bianca would sooner douse herself in hot sauce than cook for Jackson again, but when he asks her to cater his fund-raiser, Bianca can’t refuse, knowing the cash will help pay her mother’s medical bills. Then Jackson makes another outrageous request: Marry me. The unconventional offer includes an enormous sum—money Bianca desperately needs, even if it does come with a contract—and a stunning ring.

The heir to a family bourbon dynasty, Jackson knows the rumors swirling around him. The truth is even darker. Still, he needs a wife to secure his inheritance, and free-spirited, sassy Bianca would play the part beautifully. Soon, though, their simple business deal evolves into an emotional intimacy he’s built walls to avoid.

As the passion heats up between them, Bianca and Jackson struggle to define which feelings are real and which are for show. Is falling for your fake fiancΓ© the best happy ending…or a recipe for disaster?

My Opinions:

*4 Stars*
This is one of the book that I picked up because of the cover and I've got to say that I really love how this story was written. It was amazing to see Jackson changed because of Bianca.

Bianca Hardwick has spent most of her savings on her new restaurant and most of her recipes are created based off of the Boudreaux's family bourbon. Meeting Jackson Boudreaux was suppose to be a dream come true for her until she realized that he wasn't so nice in person and the most irritating customer that she had to deal with. This is until she found out that her mother has cancer and she doesn't have the money to pay for the medical bills, so when Jackson propose an idea that can help her attain that money to help her mother, she had to accept his request. I love Bianca's character and how she didn't put up with Jackson's attitude just because he was rich. I also appreciated how caring she was to her mother and how she help her mother through the hardest of times.

Jackson Boudreaux has everything he wanted in life and waiting in line at the famous, well-recognized restaurant in New Orleans isn't it. When he was faced with Bianca's attitude and how she put him in his place, he found her quite interesting and the wait to taste her food was worth his time. After requesting her to work as his chef for a fundraiser that he was doing, he found a connection with her that he had never experienced with anyone before. So when his father called and asked him to make a decision, between working for the family's or marrying before 35, if he wanted to acquire the family's heritage, he decided that the only person that he would like to have in that position is the one person who can put him in his place, Bianca. I really enjoyed Jackson's character and learned a lot about his past with his family. I was really sad to hear what he had to go through and the reason that pushed him away from Kentucky. His relationship with Bianca was really enjoyable and his adopted son was really cute as well. I love single dads so much.

Overall, this book was really a good read and I really want to pick up the next book in this series.
