In the end, you as the reader will be asked to make a choice. Aaron, or Damien. Light, or dark. There are two endings to this story, and only YOU can decide.
Enter the world of Etta, in Drawn.
Have you ever felt so drawn to someone, that you will put up with anything to be with them? That’s how I feel when I’m around him.
Most of the time, I want to hate him. I want to stay as far away from him as possible. He’s so cocky, and arrogant. And he gets in the way and tells me what to do. He’s all things that I normally detest in a man. But, when we’re alone… I can’t even think for myself – the pull is that intense.
I know I should run, I know I should stay away. But I can’t. I don’t know if I’m strong enough.
What do you do when you just can’t stay away? Even when you know you should…
***Content warning*** This is not your typical romance. This is an erotic thriller about an obsessive relationship between two people who struggle to maintain their control around each other.
My Opinions:
*4 Stars*
When I first started this book, I found it really interesting how Henrietta could walk into a random person's house and act like she has known him for such a long time. Well, this book was an okay read for me because I didn't understand how these two character never knew how to just give up on each other but I guess it just because they loved each other so much.
Henrietta, Etta, has been kept in her home under the protection of her parents after they lost their one and only son, Craig, so she was never able to explore and leave her home and enjoy the life that she wanted to live until she met Damien. I really enjoyed the connection between Damien and Henrietta at the beginning of this book because he wasn't as controlling and demanding as he would later become which really irked my nerves. I loved how he called Henrietta by her full name instead of her nickname, Etta, which she used after her brother's death. I also enjoy the time when Damien and Henrietta were training at her father's dojo before she could go out and hang with her friends.
Damien Rhodes was such a perfect character for like the first 40% of the book and then something about him changed when he started going out with Henrietta. I guess he was not as a perfect as I thought he was because he would never allow Henrietta to leave his side like he didn't allow her to visit her friends, parents, or even go to school and complete her education. I was also irritated when Etta decided that it was time to end the relationship, but when Damien was 2 inches away from her or when he touched her, she would lose her ability to think about what she was planning on doing and return to his side like OMG make up your freaken mind already.
Aaron was Henrietta's ex-boyfriend, but even after they broke up they were able to remain friends and kept peace. I love how he was always there for Henrietta when she was arguing with Damien or when she was trying her best to run away from him. Aaron was a sweet character and he tried to show Henrietta right from wrong, but she never listened to him and kept on trying to prove him wrong.
However the ending of this book really blew my mind because seriously that was like the best part out of this entire book. I also loved how Lilliana decided that she would make two books so that the readers could choose who they would want Henrietta to end up with. So Redemption is Damien's story and Obsession is Aaron's story.
Where to get this book?
