My Opinions:

*5 Stars*
Since this book was on my TBR for so long time and I've been craving to read a sports romance, I decided to pick this story up so that I could read it. I, however, did not think that this story could be like stabbing a knife into my heart. J. Nathan is definitely a new author that I have to follow because after reading this book, I had to take like a break from reading because of all the emotions that I felt while reading this book.

Finlay Thatcher decided to go after her brother's dream after his death and because of all the guilt she felt towards him and how she could never apologized to him. Before her twin brother, Cole Thatcher, left for college, they had an argument with one another because Finlay felt like she doesn't have a name for herself and is always following the shadow of her brother during their years in high school. I did really hate Cole after seeing how he treated her and how he was so mean to her during the argument until the moment that Finlay found out that he had died before entering the his first college football game, Finlay decided that after a two years break from school, she wanted to follow after her brother's dream and do something for him because he would never be able to accomplish that goal and to see the person that replaced her brother on the field.

Caden Brooks was the second in-line quarterback after Finlay's brother, Cole. Focusing on his dream and being the college's most popular athlete, Caden has made it his goal to finished college and go pro while supporting his mother. However, when Caden got closer to Finlay, everything about football started to change because she was able to help him improve in his games and she also became the one person that he could talk to with all his secrets and he could trust her with it unlike his girlfriend, Leslie, but he did not want to be like his father and cheat on his girlfriend. He sworn to himself that he would grow up to never follow his father's past because his father left his mother for another woman. Though I love the chemistry that sparked between Finlay and Caden, it is OMG so unavoidable and I love their early morning runs but I felt bad for Finlay because she tries do hard to hate Caden and for what he did but she just can't deny her feelings for him.

Overall, this book made me a weeping mess and I cried so hard with every memories that Finlay had of her twin brother, Cole. TBH, this book has got to be my number one emotional book of 2018 and I thought that a book could never make me cry. I was a weeping mess after finishing this story and I could not stop the tears from falling.
