The Marriage Pact: A Baby Romance By: Tia Siren

Genre: Adult, Second Chance, Baby Romance

Ratings: 🌟🌟🌟🌟

Synopsis:

Eleven years ago, I made a pact with my best friend:
If we were still single at 35, we’d get married and have a baby!

Brad was funny, cocky and insanely s*xy.
Hanging out on the beach on Coney was always a blast.
His body was ripped and tanned, and I yearned to have his lips on mine, to be his, to be more than friends.
But I could only dream.
Because he was my secret love.
And I was just his goofy buddy.

On our last night together before he moved to L.A., something was different.
We’d had too much to drink.
The heat between us too intense to ignore.
It was my dream come true and I was so in love.
I gave him my V-card.
And he left me with his promise: a marriage pact.

He couldn’t have been serious, right?
I don’t know why I’m still thinking about it.
It was so many years ago and we haven’t spoken since.

But you know what’s really got my stomach in a knot?

Today’s my 35th birthday - and I’ve got a missed call… from Brad.

The Marriage Pact is a stand-alone novel of 80000 words. Spring is in the air so you’ll definitely fall in love with this hot-as-hell alpha and his HEA. I’ve also included some bonus novels for your enjoyment.

My Opinions:

*4 Stars*
After reading one of Tia Siren's work, I wanted to continue reading another one of her story so I found this book which is another second chance romance. I became hooked with the synopsis and I've got to say that her story improved a lot with Brad and Mia.

Mia Hunter was friends with Brad for years until he decided that it was time for him to move to the east coast where he can finally have an opportunity to thrive towards a successful future. So when Mia and Brad met up for their last night together, Mia decided that she wanted to give Brad her V-Card because she doesn't know when an opportunity would pop up for her to finally meet Brad again; however, after that night, Mia made Brad promised that he would not get awkward and would stay in contact with her. With this promise, they also decided to make a pact so when they turned 35 and is still single then they would meet up and get married. Mia's character is quite independent and whenever she has free time she would meet up with her mother and spend some time with her. I love how Mia worked as a fashion critic but somehow her review are always different from others.

Brad Jones has been in love with Mia for years, but when an opportunity striked, he decided that it was time for him to thrive forward so he has to leave Mia behind. After being away from Mia for years without any contact, Brad thought that it was time to contact her and see what's she up to. When he turned 35, he tried contacting Mia so that they could talk about their pact and get his second chance at rekindling his relationship with her. However, Mia does not approve of this idea at all because he left her for years without any contact. Brad is a really strong will character and he would do everything in his ability to get back together with Mia even if she doesn't want to be with him. I really love Brad and how he never gave up on Mia.

Overall, I really love this book and I love the second chance trope. I was really nice to see the female character giving the male character a second chance after so many years have passed by.
