Synopsis:

Who would have guessed that four minutes could change everything?

Today should be one of the worst days of seventeen-year-old Hadley Sullivan's life. Having missed her flight, she's stuck at JFK airport and late to her father's second wedding, which is taking place in London and involves a soon-to-be stepmother Hadley's never even met. Then she meets the perfect boy in the airport's cramped waiting area. His name is Oliver, he's British, and he's sitting in her row.

A long night on the plane passes in the blink of an eye, and Hadley and Oliver lose track of each other in the airport chaos upon arrival. Can fate intervene to bring them together once more?

Quirks of timing play out in this romantic and cinematic novel about family connections, second chances, and first loves. Set over a twenty-four-hour-period, Hadley and Oliver's story will make you believe that true love finds you when you're least expecting it.

My Opinions:

*4 Stars*
This was a really quick read telling a story about two people falling in love at first sight and slowly seeing each other more. Jennifer E. Smith's writing is really interesting because of how she can write in third person perspective so smoothly and it wasn't hard get a hold of. This story however was really short as it would told in about a 24 hours period.

Hadley Sullivan is going on a trip to London to see her father's wedding with her new step-mother in which she doesn't want to go because she isn't close to her father and doesn't want to see him with another woman other than her mother. However when she arrive at a cramp airport with no place to sit, a cute guy, Oliver, came to her rescue where she later discover that he would be traveling on the same plane as she was and going to the same place. I guess for me it just kind of felt unreal for someone to meet and talk to a stranger where you can act so comfortable with and talk to them about your life.

Oliver came to London for a family business and he felt that it was unnecessary to tell Hadley about which I can respect because you wouldn't want to go around telling stranger things that are personal to you. Oliver, overall, was a really sweet character and I love everything about him, from his perfect looks to his British self. I also love how nice he was to help Hadley out when she could not find a seat at the airport. However the story ended so abruptly that I felt like some parts were missing and I wish there was more to explain what had happened.
