Synopsis:

A ROYAL STANDALONE ROMANCE from the NYT Bestselling Author of The Pact, Bad at Love & The Swedish Prince

At first glance I probably seem like any good-looking guy in their late twenties. I have an obscene amount of confidence, a tattooed body sculpted by the Nordic gods, and I love the ladies as much as they love me.

If I’m not BASE jumping or car racing, I’m chasing other devious thrills with the woman of the week. And that’s fine if you’re the average single guy.
But I'm not the average single guy.

I’m Crown Prince Magnus of Norway and my latest scandal just landed my entire royal family in hot water.

Now the only way the monarchy can save face is for me to smarten up – publicly. If I don’t, I’ll no longer be heir apparent to the throne. So it’s either I abdicate my future role as King or…
I get married.
To a blue-blooded stranger.

Enter Princess Isabella of the tiny country of Liechtenstein.

Quiet, intelligent, and uniquely beautiful, Ella doesn’t like this arrangement any more than I do and she’s not afraid to show it. She says I’m a womanizer, that I don’t take anything seriously, that my ego should be taken down a few pegs, and I think she aims to make me miserable for the rest of my life.

But even as our arranged marriage becomes a war of wit and words, I’m determined to break through Ella’s prim and proper faΓ§ade to find the wild, sexual and risk-taking woman underneath. I want to uncover the Queen inside her.

The only question is – will she let me?

**The Wild Heir is a standalone royal romance and a spinoff of The Swedish Prince but it is not necessary to read that book beforehand as The Wild Heir is about different characters**

My Opinions:

*4.5 Stars*
When I decided to use my free trial on Kindle Unlimited for a few days, this was one of the books that I've wanted to read before I actually purchase the paperback because I wanted to see if I actually like this book or not. OMG! I can't believe that this is the first time I've picked up a Karina Halle book and I really enjoyed it.

Princess Isabella of Liechtenstein has been send away from her family a few years after her mother past away and when she received a call from one of her father's assistant, she finally felt like she can be of use to the family. However, she doesn't not know the reason of her father's call but only his request to her to have dinner and visit the Royal family in Norway. From what I've heard about the royal family, I think Princess Isabella, aka Ella for short, is the most normal princess of them all. She was able to go to school with the regular college students; however, her friends treat her a little differently then everyone else because she is a princess after all. She is more of an introvert princess when it comes to making friends but after meeting Magnus and hearing about all the bad rumors about him, she became a character that would not back down with it comes to Magnus.

Prince Magnus of Norway had been requested by his parents to get married with one of the princess of his choice after they heard about the rumor with him and the prime minister's daughter. Without Princess Isabella's knowledge, he decided to choose her as the princess that he would married because he felt like she is the most normal looking princess that he's known based on picture. Heidi, the prime minister's daughter, has been in love with Magnus for a while, but I found her really annoying and the video of him and her together was said to be uploaded accidentally to social media because her phone was hacked however, I felt like every word she spoke has more lies hidden in them. Prince Magnus of Norway is OMG such a swoon worthy character and I love all the stunts that he does even jumping off the bridge to relieve all the stress that he has. However, what I love more is his chemistry with Ella and how he worked his butt off to try to get her attention.

Overall, this book is the best and I can't wait to read the Sweden Prince so I can get to know Magnus's friend Victor. He seem like a really nice character when he popped up in Magnus's story.
